Presentation - Corruption

Hiii.. Today i wanna share you something. This is my writing for my assignment in my course. We should make a written presentation. And, here it is! :)

Assalamu’alaikum wr. wb.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen. I’d like to introduce my self to you all. My name is Marissa Rahmadhany. I am a chief of Corruption Eradication Commission, as known as KPK. Here I’m supposed to give a presentation. The topic that I’ve chosen is about corruption, which recently occurs in our country.

First of all, I’m going to explain the points I would talk about. First, I’d like to explain you the definition of corruption. Second, how corruption can happen. Third, what the impacts of corruption in our country are. And the last is how to prevent corruption. Now, please let me start my presentation.

Corruption means illegal attitude of official public who enriches themselves by abusing the trust they get from country. It clearly againsts the law. It involves our country incur losses. Corruption inflicts a lot of negative impacts not only for the government but also for the people.

There are some causes that make corruption happen. First, it’s from their personalities. Unthankful people always feel that their money is never enough for their lives. They will do everything to follow their desires. Second, they don’t have enough knowledge  so that they have opportunity to do corruption. Third, the law is not so clear. It makes corruption can happen freely.

The first impact affected by corruption is that economy becomes weaker. Companies are filled by wrong worker who entered using bribe. It also happen in some colleges in which quota for the best student is filled by the others who can pay more. Second, criminality becomes higher. Bribe happens everywhere and it seems that it’s a common thing in this country. Third, corruption becomes usual so it might be hard to avoid and omit it. People don’t trust public service anymore because of this habit.

Preventing corruption should start from our selves. It’s about how to grow honesty, empathy, and high faith, started from now. Deciding to eradicate corruption means deciding to move on. Success in eradicating corruption can develop our country growth.
